Succeeded by the Omnilight™ FPL in 1996, the Plasmalite® was the first fluorescent pulsed light (FPL) system. To date, 1,500 units of the Plasmalite® have been installed worldwide. Incorporating the benefits of laser and intense pulsed light (IPL) within a single system, the Plasmalite® offers non-invasive, safe treatment of all types of skin blemishes.

Specially designed to remove harmful (UV) light, the Plasmalite® filters out harmful rays of blue and green, emitting only yellow and red light. This makes the Plasmalite® and our other FPL systems far superior to alternative IPL and other skin treatments.

Fluorescent Pulsed Light

American Medical Bio Care’s patented fluorescent pulsed light (FPL) technology utilizes proprietary laser-dye impregnated polymer filters to convert unwanted energy from a xenon flashlamp into wavelengths that enhance the effectiveness of the intended applications.
